Our Facemasks are disposable 3 layered masks which conform to the highest standards of none ppe masks in Europe, the French Category 1, which is defined as for use by professionals in regular contact with the public. For example the police, bus drivers, civil servants and government employees, during a pandemic such as the current COVID-19. In order to meet this standard, our masks have adhered to the requirements and guidelines set out by the French, German, Austrian and Irish authorities.
Testing has been performed by laboratories on each of the three layers individually as well a test performed by SGS on the final 3 layered product.
Tests performed include, but are not limited to ensuring that:
Breathing resistance and air permeability
The material used for the disposable facemasks do not exceed the following limits:
— Differential pressure of the material less than or equal to 70 Pa/cm2 correlates to about 80 l/s/m2 for a vacuum pressure of 100 Pa.
NOTE Differential pressure of the material of 60 Pa/cm2 correlates to about 93 l/s/m2 for a vacuum pressure of 100 Pa.
or,
To determine the breathing resistance, one of the following tests shall apply:
Filtration efficiency of the material
Two levels of community face coverings are considered according to their filtration efficiency to particles around 3 (± 0,5) μm: — level 90%: greater than or equal to 90%
Visual inspection
Throughout production our company carries out a visual inspection of the disposable facemasks and its components to meet the requirements. This includes ensuring there shall be no defects visible (tears, detachment of the head harness, less accurate fit, deformation, wear, etc.). If any damage to the community face coverings are detected, they are deemed non-compliant and thrown away.
